It was a long holiday weekend. I applied for a day off so that I can go back to Terengganu. Edi's friends also went to Terengganu. So our weekend was packed with activities.

We started our journey back early in the morning, after our Subuh prayers.

Our journey was smooth. We were expecting traffic jams as it was a public holiday weekend, 1st May, Labour Day. But no, there was not as many cars as we expected.

At about 12-ish in the afternoon, we arrived safely. We went for lunch first. We were juggling between Nasi Ayam Berempah, Nasi Kukus or Nasi Arab. We chose to eat nasi Arab as it was the nearest compare to the other two.

What we have been planning for a few months.

Lately money has been a bit tight as my salary hasn't been processed yet, or as they say, still in process. >:(

This month I still have not receive any pay, and I am hoping that my school's PTA will give me a loan. But Edi, on the other hand, had received his arrears. Actually, most of the government servants received their arrears. 

We had dinner at Zanmai Sushi. We have been eying this place for quite some time but we did not dare to eat there. We were unsure of the price range and because they serve sushi, we were afraid that we will not be satisfied.

But all those fears turn out to be wrong. We were bloated after having dinner there a few nights before. Our bill didn't even reached RM100. We did eat a variety of food. I think we ordered 7 meals. I think I'll be going there again some day in the future.

That day when I realized that I have money in my bank account, but I only had it for only a few seconds. I finally received my dividend from Bank Rakyat, but all the money had to be used to pay my bills. That sucks, but had to be done.

Coming back from school today, I had only one thing in my mind. I wanted to watch the result for American Idol 11 this week. I had to watch the 8.00 p.m show as I was still at school to watch the live one. 

Oh man, how frustrated I was to find out that Colton Dixon was being voted out this week. Booo Americans for doing so. This season, I was excited to see Heejun Han and Colton Dixon. When Heejun was voted out, sure, I understand that one. He wasn't up to par with the rest.  He was a funny person though . But for Colton Dixon this week, I don't understand what happened. 

I sure will miss his remarkable and bizarre performances. I hope the best for his future.

One day, I came back home to find this sky-high heels. Definitely it doesn't belong to me. In the past, I might own such heels. But now, my feet and knees do not cooperate with me anymore. What a shame. Most of my heels are left dusty back in Terengganu. I still wear heels, but once in a blue moon, when I feel like it.

Went to watch Battleship last weekend. One word for that movie.. AWESOME!! The actor, oh my.. Taylor Kitsch. He's Gambit and John Carter. Now he's Lieutenant Hopper. ~melting~

So far, people are saying that this movie is not a disappointment and everybody is urging everybody to go and watch the movie. I will not review the movie here. I want you to go and see it for yourself and I promise that you will love it. That is if you are into action movie that is full of explosive and guns.

Does anyone notice a food court at Level 1 The Street? That place seems deserted. I have been there a couple of times, and each time, there's no crowd there. I'm guessing the place is for the staff and workers as the price range is cheaper compare to the other restaurants nearby. 

I went to have brunch there yesterday. At first I wanted to eat roti canai but it turned out that mamak does not have any. Even though the menu clearly stated there are all sorts of roti. I had to walk around to see what else was available. After choosing what to eat, we settled for this stall called Nasi++. Unique huh?
