BabiEs weekEnd..

Mom's in town for the week. She is visiting her 2nd new born granddaughter. She is Mom's 4th grandchild. Also, she is visiting her other granddaughter, Sara, in Klang.

My sister-in-law gave birth to a bouncy baby girl last week, I think on 23/2/2012. So I have another niece. Make that a total of 2 nephews and 2 nieces. =D

We went to Alam Damai, Cheras twice over the weekend. We were out from noon till night. At night, we went to our cousin's house in Pantai Hillpark to visit his new born son. A place that brings lots of memories to me and Edi. The place we used to go on dates. Edi lived there before, during our university's years. I lived nearby as well, at Kg Kerinchi. Mom even wanted to go to a food stall where I brought her when I was in Universiti Malaya. Luckily the stall was still there, and the food still does not disappoint us. I was exhausted but happy of course.

I think mom still wanna go visit her granddaughter next week. While she is in KL, she will make sure that she uses the time to the fullest. Not that I'm complaining.

In-house training. I don't really like in-house training. Why? This is because, every time we have in-house training, it will be done on Saturdays. If not, it will be done during school holidays. The only time we can travel (the time where the prices shoot high up : dilemma).

While others can have their training during office hours, we teachers may not. If there is an in-house training, most probably all the teachers must be involved. If it is to be done during school hours, where are we suppose to put the students? Who is suppose to look after/babysit them?

Just one of those days when I feel like complaining and babbling. Also, just feel like wanting to put my thoughts out here.

We had to discuss action plans

Last weekend we did not go out as usual. I was feeling light headed all day. My world was spinning for more than a day. I did not know what was wrong with me. I thought it was because of gas, but it felt different.

Since we didn't go out, Edi cooked. He made chicken teppanyaki. We already have the chicken fillet. We also had sprouts, which we bought for the second time. The first time we bought sprouts, it went bad. I guess we left it in the fridge for quite some time and forgot about it.

Tasty!

This was the last day in Bandung. Our flight was around noon, if I'm not mistaken. So we got up early and we just strolled along the city near our hotel. I remember I bought a T-shirt for myself that day. When I came back to Malaysia, I thought that T-shirt was for my step-dad. No wonder he could not fit in it. Mak and Yus still did some shopping that day. Bought souvenirs for I don't know who.

Shawl, green bangles, skirt and boots were bought in Bandung =D

Having lunch at the airport, was quite expensive

On the second day, we continued our mission to shop till we drop. Our travel guide took us to Pasar Baru, which was so much like Pasar Payang back home. Lots of traditional stuff were sold there. This was where I lost a lot of my rupiah. Actually I did not spend my cash here.. if you know what I mean. I bought souvenirs for my siblings here. Someone was nagging me about it. =P

Later on, we still went shopping. We went around Bandung, let me see if I can remember this. We went to Jln Riau, Rumah Mode (again), Dago and many other factory outlets. We started our day early in the morning, and of course went back to our hotel night time.

What I can say is this, if you go to Bandung and you like to shop like yours truly, I assure you RM1k is not enough. I wish I had more, but it would be trouble for me to fly back to Malaysia. I would have overload baggage!

I kind of wish I can go there again some day. But not in the near future, because I do have other plans to consider first. =D

Really felt like Pasar Payang

Reality is we were at Pasar Baru Bandung going crazy

This was last year trip. I went to Bandung, Indonesia with Edi and his family. Most of the trip was about shopping, just like other people do when they go to Indonesia. I realized that I have not blog about this yet. We arrived at Bandung late in the evening. So we only had dinner and walked around town. The next day, we went to Tangkuban Perahu. One of the tourist spot. It was a volcano spot which had not erupt for a long time. This was the place that we were harassed by local people. They were selling all sorts of souvenirs. They kept harassing us until we bought something. I finally gave in and bought fridge magnets.

After that, we went to Rumah Mode. I felt like I was in heaven. All the branded outfits were cheap. But of course, the quality was not up to par. But I did not really care about that. One of the things that I was not comfortable with Bandung was their surau was different from ours. They mix males and females together. I understand that it is their way, but it wasn't ours. So it was quite hard for me.

These are the pictures of day 1 and 2. I'll continue next time, which I don't know when.

WeddinG - pUtraJaya..

Last weekend, one of Edi's friends (Ajai and Seri) got married. The reception was held at a hall at Putrajaya. I think the hall is called Seri Seroja, if I'm not mistaken. Somewhere at Jln Diplomatik.

I think the wedding was moderately beautiful. I like it that way. Simple yet elegant. Not that lavish type of wedding where everything must be perfect with expensive stuff.

Later, after the wedding, we spend our time at Alamanda Putrajaya. Just hung out having drinks. When we went back, we went our separate ways as our cars were not park together. When Edi and I were in the car, Edi's friend called to tell that he could not find his car. He was very sure that he parked his car there. Pity him cause he was sweating like hell when we picked him up. We looked for his car together. It turned out he got the level wrong! It was one level below actually.

There's no picture the wedding or the bride and groom. Edi did not take any good picture of them. Maybe he wasn't in the mood to be a photographer. Instead he just wanted to be with his friends that day. I guess.

Why do I feel like a makcik just because I am wearing a baju kurung?

Just some photos at the same restaurant in Terengganu. Edi's favourite place to go whenever he's in Terengganu. It is somewhere under the Kuala Ibai fly over. The main dishes have always been seafood.

Did I mention I miss Terengganu already..?

Edi's gathErinG..

This happened a few weeks ago. I didn't have the time to blog about this event. It was not a big event or anything like that. Just an intimate gathering with Edi's friends from induction course. Only 7 people showed up, which I guess was good enough considering most of them are all over Malaysia. The spouses tagged along, of course.

We had lunch at Seoul Garden, One Utama. The main dish for that day was chicken. There were various types of chicken available. Edi was hoping for some beef, but none available. Later, they did served one kind of beef. It was okay.

Edi's friends were friendly. I didn't feel left out, which is very important for me. After eating and chatting for about 2 hours, some of them had to head home. What else should be done than to take a group photo. I was the photographer that day. I hope the photo turn out nice.

Today I started my day by going to my old school. Since many of my friends asked me to come over whenever I'm in Terengganu. Sure, why not. I do miss them as well. I miss my comfort zone! I just hanged out at the teacher's room and ate lunch at the canteen. How I miss the canteen's food!! Very delicious. No pictures were taken as I still don't have my compact camera with me. Edi was also not with me to be my cameraman. He went to see his friend at UMT.

Later in the evening, ma called to tell me to go to Felda Residence to meet up with our relatives from Sydney, Australia. I went with my siblings, nephews and Edi. We met ma and ayah there. We hanged out at the hotel lounge for awhile. One of our relatives was not feeling that well. He was asking for some aspirins but they were not available at the hotel lounge.

Before we went back, we just had to take a few photos of the sunset. The hotel is actually situated near the small harbor. There are also Waterfront and Taman Warisan nearby. Here are the photos of us.
