kRabi - pArt 1..

After we came back from Sydney, we went to Krabi, Thailand the next day. This time, we went with Edi's family. There were Abah, Mak, Yus, Syahir, Edi and I. 6 of us. At first we planned to go to Universal Studio Singapore, but Abah didn't want to go there.

The flight was a short one, about 1 hour and 15 minutes. We arrived at a new airport. There we hired a van to take us to our hotel. The hotel was marvellous! Love it!

After we had settled in, it was starting to get dark. We strolled along the street near our hotel. Aonang Princeville Resort is situated near the beach actually. There were a lot of tourists from the west. I think there were a lot of Malaysians as well.

The next morning, we took a boat to go island hopping. It was raining on and off but we still enjoyed ourselves. The boat ride was bumpy, with the wind and big waves.

syDneY - LaSt Post..

The 4th day was actually our last day in Sydney. The next day, when we woke up in the morning, we headed straight to the airport to go back to Malaysia. So this post is still about the 4th day, after we went to Koala Sanctuary Park.

When we were back in the city, it was late in the afternoon. Our relative, Tahsin promised to meet us. We waited for him at the Queen Victoria Building (QVB). The building was a classic. But when you go inside the building, it was totally different, it was luxurious! It's a shopping mall actually. Of course we didn't buy anything.

Later Tahsin showed us where to get halal kebab. It was our late lunch. We were hungry by that time. Remember our lunch was Krispy Kreme at the Koala Park only? Yeah, that wasn't enough. The kebab was huge and I couldn't finish it. Edi helped me out.

Then when Tahsin left, we went to the Hard Rock Cafe Sydney. We did a bit of shopping here, when suddenly it rained heavily. We were stuck there for quite some time.

At night, we had dinner at a Halal Indian Restaurant near our hotel.   It is called Jaipur Restaurant. My sister's student joined us that night. Again, the portion was so huge. When we bid our guest goodbye, we were thinking where to go that night. Since it was our last night, we refused to stay in-doors, even though the hotel personal advised us to stay in-doors. They said there was a storm coming and warning had been given out.

Anyway, we just went to a drug store nearby. We bought a few stuff. I bought myself a few perfumes and lip balms. They were cheaper than back in Malaysia. When we started to walk back to our hotel, boy was it windy! Ghazi was afraid. We saw many broken umbrella being thrown away.

That's wrap up my posts about out trip to Sydney Australia. Next post will be about my trip to Krabi, Thailand. Till next time, adios!

syDney - 4tH Day..

On our 4th day at Sydney, we went to see animals! What is visiting Australia without seeing their koalas and kangaroos?

We didn't go to the Wildlife Centre, which is situated in the middle of the city. This was because from what we read, we couldn't  touch or hold the animals. So we chose a different place to go where we can play with the kangaroos. We could also take photos up-close with the koala, which of course, all of us did!

The place was Koala Sanctuary Park, Pennant Hills. It is situated not far from the city. We took the train, of course. The ride was about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes. I can't remember the exact time. Afterwards, from the station, we rode a bus that took us directly to the park. The bus driver was helpful.
