EarLy RamaDhan..

Today is the 3rd Ramadhan for the year 2012. How's your fasting so far? Ramadhan started on Saturday, so I was relaxed enough to face the day. I have been fasting at home for these past 3 days. Tomorrow I'll be going to school. I don't know how I will feel towards the evening. Hopefully nothing bad. I do hope I can fast for the whole month this year. But that depends on my condition right?

Since Edi and I have been staying at home, we cooked our own iftar. The first day, we made spaghetti bolognese. I was the one who felt like eating that dish. We went to Jaya Grocers, still thinking of what to cook that evening. Then I saw the tomato paste, immediately my mouth watered thinking of spaghetti. Edi did most of the cooking, I helped. So this is the result:

On Sunday, we went to One Utama to meet up with Edi's friend. We did some shopping for raya and we again bought some groceries. This time, we saw salmon. After thinking for a bit, we decided to go ahead with the salmon menu for the second day. Again, Edi did most of the cooking, I helped. Edi made Grilled Salmon with Creamy Dill Sauce. The result:

Something I bought before going back from One Utama. The craze over Chatime.

Happy fasting everyone!

borOng kaiN LyCra...

Mak and Abah came from Taiping to shop for raya celebration. It seems that everyone wants to shop before the fasting month. Good idea, before the crowd gets bigger. Yus came from Ampang to join us.

Edi took us to Seksyen 7, Shah Alam. A place you can call heaven to us ladies. In my opinion, it's like the second Jln Tar. But Jln Tar is far more crowded. I like to shop here better. Even though it was hot, we can always count on the air conditioner of every boutique we stopped by.

Each everyone of us bought something, except for Edi. Still wants to buy his baju raya at Jusco, at the last minute. Mak bought a couple of tudungs and fabric to make baju kurung. Mak is a tailor, by the way. A few of my baju kurungs were tailored by Mak. Yus and Abah bought fabric as well for raya. Looks like this fasting month, Mak will be busy preparing all the baju raya for the family.

As for me, I bought 5 kinds of lycra fabric material. I'm thinking of making it into dresses. I wasn't prepared to buy so many, but the discount that they offered.. Well, you can say I can't help myself. Edi supported me on theses fabric, so I was smiling all the way when choosing the pattern. Now all I have to think is whether to give it all to Mak, or give them to my friend. Or divide them between the two. Hmm...

Stay At hOme daY..

I am staying at home for one whole week. Because of that, I am lazying around at home. I watch tv, cook dinner, go online, read books etc.

I feel like blogging everyday, but there's nothing interesting to blog about. When I scrolled through my album in this PC, I found this picture. This post had no reason whatsoever. So here goes.

This is during one weekend when we went to watch Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Before we watched the movie, we had a light snack here at Hot & Roll.

The movie was awesome. A twist from the history that we know. The effect was superb as well. I don't know whether the movie is still on or not at the cinemas, but it's worth it to go and watch!

JannAh's biRthdaY..

This happened a couple of weeks back. I haven't had the time to blog about it. No mood to be exact.

Jannah is my friend's daughter, Hasleena. Hasleena and I went to Sek Men Puteri Wilayah together way back when we were in form 1. That was so long ago. We met up before once since we reconnected through facebook.

Anyway, she invited me to attend her daughter's birthday party. I wasn't sure whether I should go or not. In the end, I went anyway because I haven't seen Hasleena for some time.

When Edi and I reached the house, all I could say was Wow!. The house is magnificent, 3-storeys and spacious. I wish I have that kind of house, but who is going to clean up all the 3 storeys. As if I have a big family now who can occupy the space. Oh well, a girl can dream.

We have been walking past Moo Cow for quite some time already. But we never stop to enjoy their yoghurt. (Why do I feel like I've used that line before?).

Anyway, we went to watch Abraham Lincoln - Vampire Hunter last week. When the movie ended, we wanted to go home, but I had this feeling to stop for McDonald's ice cream. But Edi suggested we try Moo Cow instead, as we never tried it before.

The shop is so cute! The theme is farm animals, and the sheep has a Malay name. The yoghurt has a variety flavour to choose from. I chose something healthy, while Edi chose something a bit sweet.

This will be the last post for overseas trip for this year. I won't be going anywhere any more this year, overseas I mean. As for "Cuti-Cuti Malaysia", we'll have to wait and see my conditions.

Our flight back to Malaysia from Krabi was at noon. So we had our last breakfast at the hotel. Afterwards, Mak and Yus still wanted to do last minute shopping. I didn't felt like buying anything any more.

The luxurious van came to pick us up again to go to the airport. In fact, we actually had book the van earlier, which is convenient but expensive. I tell you, whatever promotion or packages that they offer you at the airport or on your way to your destination, don't take it. They are usually more expensive. For example, on our way to our hotel, our driver stopped us at this travel office. They did offer us a good package for island hopping, or so I thought. Abah was firm and put his foot down. He refused to take the package. When we went to the beach, indeed the package for island hoping was way cheaper.

I was wearing my souvenir shirt from Sydney, cardigan from Bandung and bag from Krabi itself

Bye holiday

kRaBi - paRt 2..

I remember this day was Saturday. We started our day by strolling along the beach. We saw a lot of westerners sun bathing. We just enjoyed the morning, as it was not raining and it was not too hot. But the sun was shinning brightly. Edi took several photos of the surrounding and myself, of course. We went for a massage again. The price was 200baht per person. But here, the massage took place at an open space. So I ended up taking the foot massage only, while Edi took the body massage.

Later in the afternoon, we met up with Mak, Yus and Syahir. We went shopping. I bought quite a lot of tops as they were cheap. You don't get that price here in Malaysia. We even went to this market, some sort like a pasar malam back in Malaysia. We bought lunch mostly. But I couldn't help myself from buying a skirt. the food at the market were cheap. We had a variety to choose from and they were all halal.

At night, we had another massage. We went to the massage parlour, so it was done privately. I had my massage in peace this time.

Swam so many times in this pool

This makcik couldn't speak english, we had to make hand gestures
