QuicK WeekenD..

First of all, I would like to say sorry to the school. I lied. But it is not entirely my fault. It's you people up there who won't let me transfer, so I will seize every moment I have with my husband. Since my husband came back to Terengganu, I did not attend one of the PMR camps held by the school. I mean, it was on a Friday. Moreover, it was Malaysia Day. Double holiday! Of course Edi and I had planned long time ago for him to come back here. We were told about this camp a few days before the camp. Come on, be realistic here. Between my husband and my job, my choice is obvious. If we were told or given an earlier notice about the camp, I might have changed plan with Edi. Ini tidak, semua nak suruh terkejut and kanja. Do you know what kanja is? It's a Terengganu word.

I also had a camp in the morning, today, Sunday. Yes, I attended the camp because it was on Sunday, which is a work day in Terengganu. I don't mind eventhough Edi was still here. Both of us understood that I work on Sundays. But if you come and tell me to work on a Friday without giving me an early notice, especially when Edi is here or I'm going to KL,  then sorry to say. Saya tidak menurut perintah.

Some of the teachers at school are cool with it. They understood  my situation long time ago. I can escape a few works because of this. It's not that I don't want to do it. People have to understand that I go to KL by flight. I have to book the tickets as early as possible because of the price. So anything that I have to do suddenly, without any warning or notice, might be ignored because I do not want to loose my flight money. Unless the school wants to reimburse. I think not.

So here are some of the pictures during this quick weekend.

whAt?! resUMe?!!

My sister has been nagging me about taking masters or become a tutor in any college because it is hard for me to get transfered to KL/Selangor. Many of her friends became tutors, after being teachers. Some continued studying masters. So, this one fine day, by luck, my sister asked our childhood friend about it. She is a tutor at IIUM. She replied by saying there is a vacancy next year. Replacing her!! She's moving to follow her husband, I think.

Now, I need to do a resume, which I haven't done in like 8 years!! With a help from a friend (she's applying as well), I'm still updating it. Quite hard because I need to remember back everything from the past. The courses' that I have attended during my teaching years.

Thanks to all the people who have been trying to help me with my long over due problem. There is one teacher from my school who is also trying to help me. She has a friend at PPD Wilayah. I need to go and see her friend and discuss my situation. If I am able to, I would want to be transfered to PPD Wilayah directly. No more schools to deal with. It's not that I don't enjoy teaching, I am just frustrated of how the "org atasan" have been treating me.

Oh well..
You can call this my second home. The airport.

One of my honeymoon trips. This is in Penang, and my friend, Nisa edited this picture because she has nothing to do, at least that was what she told me.

Prefect Camp in Kuala Berang. I just had to try this wall climbing.

At UITM Shah Alam for my brother's convocation.

Just gotten married.

P/S: Today was Raya celebration at school. This year I did not take any pictures because I had camera trouble. Without pictures, it's no fun blogging about it. Sad~

It's That timE oF thE yEar..

For the past 4 years, I have been filling up the transfer form from Terengganu to KL/Selangor. Most of my friends must be bored of me rambling about this particular problem. I also feel sick of telling people the same thing over and over again, that I am not able to transfer yet. Why?! Ask the Minister of Education people why. When they say "to be with spouse" is a priority, I think that is a lot of bull.

There are a lot of other problems in between. My miscarriages, travel expenses, emotional breakdown etc. They won't consider any of these. I had even given them a letter from the doctor, still I was greeted by an expressionless face. Stone heart betul diaorg nih.

It has been getting on my nerves until I feel like quitting my job now. But that doesn't sound logical. The right step would be to continue my Masters. But after Masters, then what? Will I be able to teach in KL/Selangor then? I am a bit demoralized here.

I want to write more on this, but I don't have the heart to do so. Even so, a picture is a must.

oranGe waS Not My fAve coLour..

When I was back in Uni days, I did not like the colour orange. It seems to me like the colour is too bright in a wrong way. But as the years passed, I slowly accepted the colour. Age changes a person, perhaps?

Anyway, this photo was taken by my sister at Pantai Batu Burok, Kuala Terengganu. We took the kids to the playground. My brother in law had to exercise as well. I was way too overdressed for the playground. Come to think of it I always overdressed. I don't know how to simplify my outfit. It's one thing when you're in KL, but it is totally different when you are in Terengganu to do so.

The white was bought at a thrift shop. Thinking about it, it has been awhile since I last shop at a thrift shop. The jeans with pattern was bought at Sunway Pyramid when I was still studying in UM. The heels is from Charles and Keith, which was bought for school wear. Bag, I can't remember where I purchased it. Accessories are from various place.

Just a PhOto..

This picture was taken in Chendering, at my aunty's house. Taman Chendering Utama, if I'm not mistaken. It was my cousin's birthday and Edi was in town. He borrowed his brother's camera at that time.

The necklace that I was wearing is now no where to be found. Maybe I had threw it. I remember the rantai dah putus somehow.  The handbag is my sister's. Her friend gave it to her and being her, she doesn't change her bag constantly like I do. So she gave it to me. As for the grey top, I purchased it during a warehouse sale in KL. It's Guess. I remember going there with Malin and Kak Siti. My two best friends from KPLI days. Speaking of them, I haven't seen them for a long time. I miss them. The black ring I was wearing is a birthday gift from my little sisters. It's from Diva. How I love to buy accessories from Diva. Cheap and funky!!

Later in the evening, we went to Masjid Terapung to test the camera. Maybe I'll upload the photos in the next post. And, of course, the pictures are in my FB account for a long time already.
