syDneY - 2nD daY..

The second day we were at Sydney, it was still raining on and off. But we still could walk and explore the city.

Our hotel for 4 days.

We started our day by going to the Circular Quay again. We wanted to see the Opera House during the day. Yesterday was night time, so it was different. I can conclude that night time was livelier. There wasn't a crowd during the day. We could snap photos as many as we liked without other people passing in front of us.

Later we headed to Sydney Fish Market to have our lunch. We rode the ferry and tram to reach the place. The fish market is a wet market for the local people. But there are restaurants available there. Our cousins who went to Australia before, recommended us to go and eat here. We should thank him for doing so. The lobster, the prawn, even the fries.. everything was yummy!!

It was raining as well during the ferry ride.
Arrived, and still walking in the rain.
The crowd inside the market

Must eat at Peter's, not the other restaurants.

Some of the sea creatures that are sold here

Something is crawling up your skin looking at these, right?

After our tummies were full, we headed back to Central Station. We had to switch from tram ride to train ride. We were going back to Paddy's market to do some shopping. (Some?) This day was the day Edi and I did a lot of shopping. My siblings also did buy a lot of things, especially t-shirts as souvenirs. To tell you the truth, Paddy's was like Central Market back home. But of course the things sold were different. I even bought a kangaroo skin. I thought if making it as a carpet in our room, but Edi said it is better if we hang it on then wall. Still undecided until now.

This is Central Station during weekends.

There wasn't a lot of photos inside, as everyone was busy shopping, including Edi.

After we have finished our shopping spree, we took the train again to go this place called The Rock. I don't what is so Rock about the place. But there was a street market when we arrived there. Actually we went to The Rock to look for the famous Paddington Pancakes. We stumbled upon the street market, unfortunately they were selling things at a high price for us. Imagine one blouse was Aud99. I don't think it was a right price for a street market. We ended up not buying anything, just browsed through.

Had to walk pass the Opera House again, but from a different view.

The street market with expensive stuff

Our snack cum early dinner.

One word - Delicious

When we were finished with our pancakes, it was nearly dark. We went strolling along the quay and took a few shots of photos before we head back to our hotel. We slept early most of the days here because we started our days early.

Us walking back to our hotel. Try to count.. there's one extra person here.
