My brother-in-law is doing Masters right now. One of his assignments is to do background research of our village. He had interviewed senior citizens of the village. Went to the museum to search for any details of the village.

He had to complete his assignment with pictures of the village as attachments. Since when we went back to Terengganu, he asked us to help with the pictures. So Edi had to be the photographer for my brother-in-law. When Edi takes pictures, I'll be sure to tag along. Bahagian menyebuk!

So here are the pictures around my village back in Terengganu. It was monsoon season so you will see that it was very windy.

One of my friends said that I look wide. What can I say? Thank you?

Finally today I had the chance to meet up with the principal of SMK Sinar Bintang, me new school. I'll be teaching there starting 2012.

The school isn't big, there are 4 blocks and a canteen. The principal told me that there are about 2000 students in the school. The discipline is okey. I hope there's no gangsterisme in the school. There are a few schools around the area, and this school is suppose to be the students' and parents' second choice, after SMK Kepong Baru.

As expected, I'll be teaching in the evening session. That is always the case. If you are new, most probably you'll teach in the evening session. Unless you teach chemistry, physics, biology, account etc. Students from form 1 and 2 are in the evening session.

Guess what subject I'll be teaching?!!

ENGLISH!!!!

And they say there is more than enough English teachers in KL!! (Marah tul!!). The principal said that there is not enough English teachers for the evening session. Well, good news!! I do teach English for form 1 and 2.

I even secured a place for myself. It is situated somewhere in the middle of the staffroom. I hope and pray that the teachers there are friendly and helpful.

After reporting duty, I went to Tesco again for some groceries shopping. Surprise surprise.. I only spent RM48. It's because I only bought a few things. Remember once I told you that if I go groceries shopping, I have to budget about RM100? It's different today.

When I was staying in Terengganu, whenever I feel like hanging out, I would always call my friend Hana. She is actually a relative but she is also my close friend. Even though Terengganu does not have a variety of place to choose from, we make do.

Last weekend when I went back to Terengganu for my cousin's wedding, of course I made a date to meet up with her. She had to work on Sunday, so we promised to meet up later at night. We went to Old Town Kopitiam. Edi tagged along. Usually it would be just the two of us. But since Edi was around, he followed.

We talked about everything that came to mind. Catch up with things. Gossip is a must. There was this hot topic which I won't reveal here. It's not a new topic but there was an added information. Devilish us!

I'm still blogging as my friend still has not send any signal for me to move. Come on, I'm hungry!!

This is going to be my usual place. I know where to park. No need to face the hassle of parking with the large crowd. More over, it's near to my house. Everything is here.

I have so many things to blog about but I chose to blog about nothing today. I don't have much time now. I am waiting for my friend from Malacca. She's on leave and she wants to go to Ikea. I am going to accompany her.

I went to my new school this morning but the principal was out. Last week when I called she said I could come today. Argghh.. luckily the school is not that far. 20 minutes drive. I'll go again tomorrow.

EE's WeDDinG..

Another cousin got married. He is the funniest cousin that we have. Likes to make spontaneous jokes. We call him EE, his real name is Fathi. His bride is Afifah, his long time girlfriend. I think they went to the same school.

The wedding went well, despite a little bit of drizzle now and then. Thankfully it did not rain heavily like the day before. We went early in the morning for the solemnization. They wore white. In the afternoon was the reception. They wore dark blue and gold. For this post, I will upload pictures during the solemnization first. Maybe I'll upload the reception's photos in the next post.

bAck In gAnu..

Now I am in Terengganu. We came back today. Tomorrow there is a wedding to attend. My cousin is getting married. Another reason for me to come back here is to pack my stuff that are still here. There are still a lot of work attire to be packed.

We started our journey around 11.30a.m and we reached Terengganu around 5p.m. Traffic was okey. There weren't many cars on the road. We stopped at R&R Temerloh for lunch. I had ikan patin tempoyak. I like it.
:9
The reason I chose this because the day before I read at my cousin's FB wall, she posted that she ate this as well. She was on her way back to Terengganu too. Again, easily influenced.

Coincidentally, we met with some relatives at the R&R. I recognized them the minute I saw them. But it was the opposite for them. They looked at me as if thinking "Where have I seen this girl before?". When I told them who my mother is, then only they went "Laaaa...".

After that, we continued on our journey. We took the Jabor highway, or is it not a highway? Hmm.. I'm not sure and too lazy to check. It rained all the way until we reached home.

Cats and dogs

The road was terrible. But it is a much shorter way compare to the other road near the beach. Alhamdulillah, we arrived home safely. Arriving home, an irritating news awaits me. Maybe I'll tell you some other time k.

That was how my day went. What about you?
