If onLy I drivE a biG Foot..

Yesterday, after coming back from school, I stopped by a grocery shop to buy something. The shop  lot does not have many parking space. People park along the roadside. Fine, that is understandable. They don't disturbed the traffic there.

I was lucky to have a parking space. I did not have much problem there. But what I saw made me angry. If only I drove a big foot, I wanted so much to drove over this particular car.

Peanut brain

How can this person parked in the middle of the road? I don't understand. Does he/she has  privilege to park there? Why? I don't like this sort of things. Inconsiderate people!! You are lucky I am not revealing your plate number!

TearS Of saDness And Joy..

Today was my last day at STEMZA. Everything went well, not according to my plan but according to my expectations.

My farewell party started around 11.30 am. I wanted to sit with my close friends, of course. But since I was the celebrated person, I had to sit with the management. Luckily yesterday we already had lunch together.

Before we ate, I had to give out my speech. According to my plan, I did not want to do so, but I prepared anyway. It wasn't much of a speech. It is more about my feelings. What I felt. I wasn't planning to cry, but I did expect that I will cry eventually. I was only at my 3rd sentence, when I could not control my feelings and tears anymore. I tried to keep on talking and sharing my feelings despite the awful sobbing. I saw my friends were not in the room, I knew they could not stand to see me cry. =(

I am a person who has a hard time crying in a public. I only cry with my husband and when I talk about my emotions and problems. But, if once I start to cry, you'll bet that I will not stop crying for quite a long time. Let's see. The "speech" that I gave out was around 11.45 am. I wasn't done crying until I reached home around 2.30 pm. Sure, there were breaks, when I ate the lunch, when I was walking towards my car etc. Every time I said goodbye and gave a hug to a friend at school, I started to cry all over again.

I think all my make-up had gone by the time I entered my car. I must look horrible. Can't wait to see the photos. They are not with me, but a friend will email to me. Soon, hopefully.

Anyway, I'm sharing a photo of the presents that I received today and yesterday. I must say, most of them really know me well. Many gave me shawls. I likeeeee... =D. As for the rest, there are purse, vase, towels, storage box, comforter, lipstick, bracelet, blouse, photo frames and Tupperware. I will treasure all of them. If any of you are reading this, thank you so much for all the 5 year-memories, good and bad.

What happens if you feel really really sleepy..? I mean really..

This... perhaps..

We were on our way to the airport to fetch this kid's mother. Just like me, I always sleep in the car. I mean, when I am not driving, of course. I get sleepy easily looking out the window. No matter if I am in a car, bus or an airplane. I can sleep even it is noisy or there is light. Maybe it is because the vehicle moving which rock me to sleep.

But if I'm driving, that is a different story. Even if I get sleepy, I can still drive. Usually I won't take that risk. I'll stop somewhere to catch some Zs. I had once stop at Shah Alam Batu 3 toll because I was so sleepy and I can't keep my eyes open. I slept there for about 15 minutes. Luckily no one tapped my window.

thE enD iS nEar..

I think I have read the title somewhere, maybe from one my friend's blog. But she wrote about the holiday. I am not going to write about that, as we go on holidays every year. I am talking about the real end. The very end. The end of my teaching in Terengganu. Hopefully not forever end. Maybe some day I'll move back here, but later in life.

I have been ranting and complaining about my life and work. Saying how much I want to transfer to KL. Now that I am able to do so, I feel sad to leave my school, STEMZA. I have been teaching here for the past 5 years. I have been through a lot, I have also learned a lot here.

I don't want to think much about this, because if I do, I won't be able to do anything. I'll be busy crying. And if I start to cry, it will take a while for me to stop.

Today, my friends went to have lunch together, for the last time. We went to Paradise Deluxe. I never knew that the restaurant is open for lunch. I always thought that it is for dinner only. Anyway, we ordered Tom Yam Paradise Style, Butter Prawn, Lemon Sauce Chicken, Kerabu Mangga and Telur Masin Crab. It was a delicious meal. Sorry, I did not snap any pictures of the food. We were so hungry at that time. When we meals arrived, we ate hungrily. We always have our lunch at about 12 noon. But since we wanted to go out together, our had our lunch at 3 pm.

We only snap a photo together after we paid for the lunch. Kak Nun and Kak Ana paid for us. Thanks so much dears!!

maLaCCa yEar End 2011

There's not much to tell about this Malacca trip. Just that this trip is going to be my last trip with the teachers from STEMZA. I'll be teaching in KL next year. Finally after 5 years of teaching, and 4 years of marriage, I finally got transfered and get to live with my husband. I hope I'll teach in a nice school. Is there a nice school in KL? Wish me all the best.

As for Malacca photos, get ready. There are quite a lot of them.

I'm bAck..

I came back from Malacca yesterday night. We arrived at school at about 12am. I did not think I was able to drive back to my house, so I opted to sleep over my friend's house for the night. Today I went to school a bit late, around 8am. Most of the teachers who went to Malacca came to school a bit late. Thanks so much Mr Principal for allowing us to do so. I even went back home early. Sorry people, but my eyes couldn't stay open. I was so sleepy, dizzy and with all the body aches. Even nescafe can't help my condition. 12 hours of bus ride is not a friend to your body.

Malacca was okey. It wasn't that fun, and it wasn't that lame. I'll post the pictures soon, not today. I'm blogging just to say hi after 2 days of absentee.

OutstAtiOn..

I'll be out of town for the weekend. There is this in-house training for us teachers and it is held in far far away Malacca. All of us have to take the bus that is provided. Which mean we will be stuck on the bus for about 7 hours. My butt will definitely go to sleep many times. I'm not a fan of bus rides nowadays. Sure, when I was younger (note : I'm still young though =D ), I always take the bus to travel back and forth to my hometown. But now, I don't think I can take it unless it is a night bus. Then I'll be sleeping through the journey, no problem! We will start our journey around 2.30 pm. Hopefully the weather will cooperate with us. Not too hot and not too cold. Am I asking too much?

For this in-house training, there were a lot of conflict before everything was finalized. At first they said that Friday will be our free day. Meaning that we can do or go anywhere we want, even to KL perhaps. The training will be held only on Saturday. Suddenly at the last minute, they changed the plan. Both days will be occupied with training sessions. So where is the shopping time? The us time? Luckily I wasn't planning to do any shopping because I'm saving for the Year-End-Sale. My friends planned to shop and watch a movie. Friday evening is the only time allocated for the us time. Do we have enough time to catch a movie?

We will be staying at a hotel which I'm not sure of, whether it is Coastal Hotel or Seri Costa Hotel. I am hoping the later one because it is much much more comfortable and beautiful. Coastal Hotel is a budget hotel, which I think the teachers will go berserk if we were to stay here. Well, I'm praying hard.

As for the rooms, they say it will be 3 teachers per room. Kind of crowded, don't you think? But anyway, most of us already chose who to be our roommates. Suddenly today, they said that they will determine who is staying with who. What the...?!!

I just hope that this trip/in-house training will turn out to be okay. Today I am uploading the pictures Edi took when he hiked Bukit Tabur, some where in Taman Melawati, KL. He went with his friend. I love the pictures very much!!
