babY girL..

So yes, today I went to see my little niece for the first time at PPUM. So tiny. When I picked her up, she was so light. Not like other babies that I have held before. When she was born. she was only 2.1kg. 

At that time, my brother, who was the father didn't even dare to pick her up. But my mom persisted him to do so. So very carefully, he picked up her daughter for the first time today. Which was the third day, if I am not mistaken.

Other story of my life, I have gone to school formally for 3 days already. I am given the last class of form 2. It felt the same when I was back in STEMZA and I had to teach the last class of form 3. It's just the same, except for the students' race. Most of them like to talk loudly, run across the classroom, like to go out and in as if I'm not there and yes, don't forget the sudden screaming. 

As for other classes, it was okay. Except for the language. They talked to me using BM or BI, but when they talk to each other, they'll use BC for sure. I can't understand them. A few of my friends and Edi told me to take mandarin class. I am sure about the idea. It might be useful but when am I going to go to the class? On weekends? At nights? I am not that industrious. Heh.

As I am teaching in the evening, I think my time is limited now. I know that the hours at school is less compare to morning. The problem is that after Subuh, I tend to sleep some more for awhile. Which means when I wake up, I need to start cooking already. There is not much time for me to browse the Internet or go on-line. When I get back from school, I have to shower and pray. Eat my dinner and watch a bit of tv. After that, I have about an hour or so to go on-line or blog, which I abandoned for the past 3 days, I think.

So it looks like I will be updating my blog lesser than before. Plus since the school started, there is not much story to tell or photos to share.

Today at school, I received a great news from my younger brother. I have a niece!! Yeay! After 2 nephews, a niece is going to be different. Can't wait to see her this weekend. I still don't know her name.

Why do I feel like I am at Petaling Street when I am at school, especially in my own class..?

This year, I celebrated new year differently compare to the previous years. Usually I will go watch fireworks from afar. I won't go mingle in the crowd. Edi hates that so much he'll explode. 

On 1st January 2012, I was in Taiping. We wanted to go back to Taiping as we did not go back since the school holiday started. There was this one weekend we wanted to go back, but Mak came here instead. 

There is not much activity when we go back to Taiping. Usually we just stay home. Sometimes we go to Tesco for groceries shopping. It was no different this time. We did hear fireworks from afar during new year's eve, but we did not bother. We slept instead. 

But there is one thing that is different this time. I have been nagging Edi about eating or buying durian for a few weeks. Edi always said that we will eat durian when we go back to Taiping. Abah actually called his friend who has a durian orchard to bring durian to the house. Surprise surprise... Edi bought for me one big basket of durian. I think there was about 20 durians. Sure enough, after we ate as much as we could, our bodies became hot. I had to take a bath.

Now I'm back in KL, I still have about 7 durians to eat. I don't know when I'll continue to eat them. Plus, my car still smells like durian!

MissiOn - eDi's Pair oF ShOe..

Edi needed a new pair of shoe. He has been wearing his shoe for the past 2 years. Unlike me, he only has one pair of shoe. 

The last time we went to Jusco One Utama, we surveyed a few pairs for him. He is a bit picky when it comes to buy shoes. He will spend more time selecting the right pair than me shopping for my shoes. After trying countless pair of shoes, I told him that I want him to buy this particular Timberland shoe. I like the design because it is different. It has anti-fatigue and it is comfortable. 

Unluckily for us, the colour is not right. It is not dark enough to be worn to work. So we continued on searching that Timberland shoe. I think it took almost a week. We went to Parkson One Utama, Timberland One Utama, Jusco Midvalley, Timberland Midvalley and Metrojaya Midvalley. Edi went on his own to KLCC ( x ajak pun..) to look for the shoe. I think he went to Isetan and Timberland Boutique. He went during his lunch hour. There is always something that kept him from buying. No size, no colour, no discount etc.

Finally, on a one fine day, Edi sms-ed me telling me his mission has accomplished. During yesterday's lunch hour, he went to Pertama Complex with his friend. There is a Timberland Boutique there. All sizes and all colours were available. So, the search is over, he came back with the new pair of shoes yesterday.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

PPUM..

Went to PPUM recently with my sister, Hasanah. It has been quite a while since I last drove around that area. The road that I always take during my uni years. 

No, I did not go there for myself. I am okay. I went there to visit my sister-in-law who was warded due to high blood pressure. She is pregnant. I think she started to have this high blood pressure during her pregnancy. She was warded about 3 days so that the doctor can observe her. They also wanted to decide which day for her to go in labor. Due to the high blood pressure also, she has to deliver early than scheduled.

The gender of the baby is still a mystery. But I still can't wait to see my 3rd nephew or niece!

Oh yeah, one more thing. When we were walking towards the ward, a very sexy chick walked in front of us. They way she swayed her hips, the high heels, the long straight hair, and her mini skirt. The only weird thing was that she was tall and big. 

So eventually we arrived at the lift. She was going on the same lift as us. When we got in, everything turned their body, obviously. That was the time me and Sanah put on our poker face. The big girl was actually a man. The face doesn't go with the face, at all!!

25 dEC enGagEmenT...

The ceremony was Edi's cousin's engagement, which was held at their home, Klang, Selangor. The theme was black, grey and white... I think. 

We were lost. We lost our way. This was because Edi wasn't familiar with the place. He only went to the house a couple of times. I think we covered the whole neighborhood to find out that we were given the wrong direction. Sampai pagi esok pun takkan jumpa kalau macam itu. Finally I called one of the cousin to come and fetch us. We waited near a surau nearby. 

The engagement was, how am I going to put this? I felt like it was a wedding ceremony. There were over 20 gifts for the girl's side and another 20+ gifts for the boy's side. I saw all sorts of kuih muih given.

My mother-in-law made the pelamin. It was beautiful. The ceremony was beautiful as well.
